Cuff of Cerrado?

Bioluminescência no cerrado brasileiro :: Bioluminescence in the brazilian cerrado

Cupinzeiro (termite mound) :: architecture produced by termites through the excessive accumulation of mud, faeces and insect saliva that are sedimented in a continuous and rounded movement, fold by fold, creating a cavernous labyrinth inside. Its hight can reach 3 ou 4 meters, occupying immense horizons, that swarming on dry pastures and ochres of the country. 

However, along the months of october  and november something happens: the termites mound of a especific region of Goiás (at the heart of Brazil) are abandoned by their architects and a bridal fireflies dance turns the cavernous and dark structure doing the perfect environment for the deposit of their highly luminous larvae. With that minor gesture, uncountable movements emerge, an between-time; it is known that the rain times will come and with them, lot of other things.

Cerrado :: The cerrado is a vast tropical savanna ecoregion in Brazil, particularly in the states of Goiás and Minas Gerais.
